Managing monthly billing just got significantly easier. With our new automated rent charges feature, LeasePilot now handles the heavy lifting of monthly invoicing.
How it Works
Once a lease is marked as 'Active', LeasePilot will automatically:
- Generate Charges - Based on the monthly rent amount specified in the lease.
- Email Invoices - Sent directly to the tenant on the due day or a specified lead time.
- Track Status - Automatically mark as 'Paid' when an integrated payment is received.
Pro-rated First Month
The system now correctly calculates pro-rated rent for mid-month move-ins, ensuring accuracy from day one.
Recurring Late Fees
Optionally enable automated late fee generation if a payment isn't received within your defined grace period.
You can enable these features in your Portfolio Settings under the 'Billing' tab.
